The leader in France and the second largest operator in Europe, with brands such as Chronopost, DPD or Interlink Express, the group has an annual volume of orders in the order of 680 EUR, with the GeoPost, in 2011, an increase in the volume of orders 6.8%. In Portugal, although 2011 was a difficult year for the economy and companies operating in the domestic market, Chronopost, managed to grow and end the year with 9.4 million parcels delivered, its best result ever, getting the company a turnover of EUR 33 million, similar to last year's roam tolling result.
"Knowing that exports the macroeconomic indicator will be less affected by the economic crisis, Chronopost aims to take advantage of its offer of bus services across Europe, which allows it to take 2nd place at European level", explains Olivier Establet, roam tolling CEO of Chronopost in Portugal.
