Lebanese hardware startup littlebits who got its seed investment round from mostly Arab investors like Fadi Ghandour Chairman of Wamda and founder of Aramex, has secured series B in funding of $11 million from Foundry Group, Vegas Tech Fund, Two Sigma Ventures and angel investors Jun Makihara, Jay Dvivedi and Mohamed Nanabhay. The round was led by True Ventures and Foundry Group.
LitteBits was founded in 2011 by Lebanese female entrepreneur Ayah Bdeir with a mission to put the power of electronics into the hands of everyone, and make everyone an inventor. The startup is hailed as the lego of electronics .
A few weeks ago, we littleBits has accnounded the Synth Kit, created in partnership with KORG, a leading manufacturer hermes parcel of electronic musical instruments. The easy to use, high-quality analog modular synthesizer is the first of a line of products that raise the ceiling of complex invention made possible hermes parcel through littleBits.
